Installing TestWise / Watir Recorder
TestWise/Watir recorder is a Firefox 3 extension ((Note: FireFox 3.6 support will be added soon). It records your operations into executable test scripts while you navigates your web application in Firefox. Two test scripts syntax are supported: RWebSpec and Watir
TestWise Recorder is platform independent.
Install via Shortcut
Requirement: Firefox 3.x and TestWise IDE installed.
- Close all Firefox browser windows (important, otherwise won't work)
- Start TestWise IDE, click 'Start Page' tab, click 'Install Record Link'
Install manually
Requirement: Firefox 3.x
- Download testwise_recorder.xpi
(if you have trouble, right click the link and select 'Save Link As')
- Drag testswise_recorder.xpi to a Firefox browser window.
- Restart Firefox
- Start recording
